Nathaniel Christopher
My lost Rubbermaid tub.

Item: Giant Rubbermaid tub purchased from the Burnaby Wal-Mart in 2001
Weight: 65 lbs.
Contents: Sony Stereo, forty very rare disco cds, pink Woodward’s wool blanket, plaid coat, cd stereo rack, clean sheets, stolen art.
Approximate value of contents: About $700
Origin: Peterborough, Ontario.
Destination: Vancouver, British Columbia
Sent: August 17, 2005
Current whereabouts: Unknown.

I shipped this tub by Greyhound from Peterborough to Vancouver on August 17th and it is still not here! I’ve put a trace on it but Greyhound can’t seem to locate it in any warehouse. I guess the lesson to be learned is to avoid shipping your tubs by Greyhound if there’s some kind of Karmic jinx on its contents – i.e. stolen art. Okay, it wasn’t really stolen, it was “salvaged” from a basement where it had been abandoned and left to rot.
