My calculator

Nathaniel Christopher

I was doing some random web surfing today when I stumbled upon the site of Monte Stewart. He’s a freelance journalist based in Vancouver.

I noticed something very familiar on his website: My calculator.

If you look at the right side of his site you’ll notice an image of a calculator:

That calculator is definitely an old school Texas Instruments TI-30 SLR+. I got mine at Canadian Tire back in 1993 and it’s the only calculator I’ve ever owned. It’s old, but it does the trick. If I used it more perhaps I’d have better control over my finances.

I am a resident of Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada who has blogged here for 20 years. I like to share my thoughts and feelings on my own online space. From 1998 until 2017 I worked as a journalist and I hope to use this website as an archive for all of my stories.
