New Year’s

So, I went over to Nanaimo for New Year’s had a great time.

Portland left a really bad taste in my mouth, so I thought a pleasant trip to the Island would be good. And it was. When I think about it, I don’t have very many unpleasant trips to the Island. It’s my home.

This visit was spent with my old friend, Stephanie. When we were younger we were at each other’s throats, but as an adult I’ve grown to really admire and respect her.  Most importantly her house has a working toilet.

We spent New Year’s eve just relaxing and watching movies. Her new boyfriend called her at 12:02 to let us know that it was 2009.

Here’s what I was doing at New Year’s…

  1. Ooh! Not random – my old friend Cathy. She’s young, but I’ve known her for such a long time that I consider her an “old” friend. Anyways… Stephanie came along and it was a really nice visit.
