Found my camera!

Nathaniel Christopher

Well, I managed to lose my camera a few weeks ago.

It’s a Pentax Optio s40. It’s archaic by today’s standards, but when I bought it back in 2004 it was considered a very good camera. I bought it because it’s extremely durable. It’s made out of metal so I can drop it as much as I like without wrecking it. It’s a great work horse that’s served me well over the years.

Another thing I like is its compact size. I can carry it around me wherever I go just in case I see something worth capturing.

I wanted to ring it to the Kathy Griffin show, but alas, I couldn’t find it.

I assumed I left it somewhere or that it was stolen so I was pretty sad. During the time it was lost I missed so many wild photo opportunities. Of course, you only see those when you don’t have a camera.

But the other day I found it! It was underneath my bed.
