I’m really excited to be making this post from my hometown of Nanaimo, Vancouver Island. There’s going to be a big benefit concert on Gabriola Island tonight for my foster mom, Jo-Anne. She’s sick with cancer and so the whole community’s rallying to make sure she has enough money to get the proper food and care and so forth.

Last night though, I dropped into town without warning to my friends. I call up my old friend Dolly Iris, the famous financial expert, and say “Hey dude, I’m coming to Nanaimo tonight, can I crash at your place?” She, of course, was happy to have me over. We had pizza and doughnuts. It was a wonderful night.
